Marian Rivera is ready for Miss Universe 2021.
The preliminary activities for the 70th Miss Universe competition has officially begun and Kapuso primetime queen Marian Rivera is all set and ready to do her duties as a judge in the prestigious pageant.
On December 8, the powerhouse nine-woman panel selection committee composing of Marian, Brazilian supermodel-actress Adriana Lima, Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela, American model Lori Harvey, Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere, Puerto Rican actress Adamari Lopez, actress Rena Sofer, Miss USA 2019 Chelsie Kryst, and Miss Universe 1976 Rina Mor has officially been announced via Instagram.
As her first OOTD reveal, the Kapuso fashionista looked ethereal in her bell sleeved, ankle-length cream silk dress.
As for the preliminary activities, over 80 candidates from across the world have been interviewed one-by-one.
Meanwhile, Miss Universe Philippines director Jonas Gaffud released a video of the country's representative Beatrice Luigi Gomez wearing a flowy purple casual outfit which she wore for the rehearsals.
Last December 7, Marian, together with husband Dingdong Dantes and her entire glam team left for Israel ahead of the Miss Universe pageant.
In a previous interview on 24 Oras, designer Francis Libiran gave a sneak peak of the actress' much-awaited gown for the coronation night. Based on the design sketch, Marian will be wearing a simple yet sexy off-shoulder gown to highlight her toned chest and shoulders.
Ahead of the competition, Marian released photos taken by Dingdong of her beautifully basking in the Israel sun. Since she arrived, the hashtag #MarianxMissU has been making rounds on social media in support of the actress.
